The harvest is collected in innocuous plastic boxes, transported in completely closed trucks under the regulation PIPAA/USDA. Then the product is taken to the sorting area where female careful hands select thoroughly the product that complies with the quality specifications. Further on, the product is packed: washed, dried, weighted, tagged, and placed in cardboard boxes, plastic bags, or clamshells, according to their own final destination.
Each container carries a tag, which makes possible a follow-up of the product through a traceability system that could lead you to the origin if any problem should arise. We have rigorous inspectors available from the agricultural department of the Guatemalan government that will certify the phytosanitation of our products in conformity with the international market requirements.
